About The Emma carrier
From what age can I use the Emma?
The Emma supports babies from 7 lbs (roughly newborn) up to 45 lbs (toddler, about 4 years). No infant insert or additional accessories needed.
Is the Emma safe for my baby’s hips and spine?
Yes. The Emma positions baby in the pediatrician-recommended “M-shape” — knees higher than the bottom — which supports healthy hip and spine development. ASTM F2236 certified, CPSIA compliant, BPA/PVC/lead-free.
What carrying positions does it support?
Front inward (newborn and infant), front outward (once baby has strong head control, around 4-6 months), hip, and back carry (once baby is 6+ months with good trunk support).
How do I clean it?
Machine washable. Cold wash, gentle cycle, air dry. No special instructions needed. We designed it for real life, not a museum.
Will it fit me and my partner?
Yes. The straps adjust for parents from about 5’0″ to 6’4″ with waist sizes 26–52 inches. Most couples share one Emma.
Is the fabric breathable for hot days?
Yes. The Emma has a breathable mesh panel on the back designed for warm weather and long wears. It stays cool for both you and baby.

Orders & delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Free on every US order. No minimum threshold.
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 4pm EST ship the same business day. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days within the continental US.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship only within the United States. International shipping is on our roadmap — if you’d like us to email you when we expand, use the signup form in the footer.
How do I track my order?
You’ll get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your Emma ships. Just reply to it if anything looks off.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
Email info@kinnbaby.com with your order number. We’ll replace it fast. No hoops.
Returns & guarantee
Our promise
What’s your return policy?
90 days, full refund, no questions asked. If the Emma isn’t the most comfortable carrier you’ve owned, send it back and we’ll refund every cent. Full policy here.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The Emma is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything fails under normal use, we’ll replace it for free.
Can I exchange for a different color?
Yes. Within 90 days, we’ll exchange any unused carrier for a different color at no extra cost. Email info@kinnbaby.com to start.
What happens to returned carriers?
Returned in new condition: added back to inventory. Gently used: donated to local family shelters. We believe no carrier should go to waste when a family could use it.

Paying for your order
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Affirm, and Afterpay. All through industry-leading secure checkout (Stripe).
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. We never see or store your card details. All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). Your card info goes directly from your browser to Stripe’s encrypted servers.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Affirm and Afterpay let you split your order into 4 interest-free payments. Choose them at checkout.
